1000% this. I won’t say it’s a perfect show but it looks the part, the SFX are no worse than the early Harry Potter movies and the casting is dead on. The kid who plays Aang is brilliant.

I think of it like a comic book adaptation where they inevitably have to chop and change things a bit to make it fit. It makes it different but it doesn’t make it work.

I loved it.
