All the power in the world is useless unles you have the software to back it up and whilst Android handsets are brilliant machines for most people the fractured market means it lacks power-user apps to make use of it.

The average phone isn't being used to edit a movie or make the next hit song but my iPhone can play PS4 games (at 20fps!), on-device photogrammetry sans subscription and record 4K pro-res video.

An S24U can also play games at high(er) frame rates and do great video but it lacks a lot of software exclusives that make good use of the power. No Resident Evil 8 on Android :(
