Android hardware? Well made and on the whole better value for money.

Android as an OS? Better customisation and wide variety of apps. I can play PS2 titles on Android.

Android reliability? Untrustworthy. I’m not talking about unsent messages, OS crashes or dropped phone calls. General stability is fine. But on every Android phone I’ve used in the last few years, from the Pixel 8 Pro and S23 to the Nothing 2a services like Google Pay just outright refuse to work 50% of the time. And if you can’t trust your phone to do something simple like pay for your groceries then the rest of the house of cards just falls apart.

I don’t want flashy infotainment; I want something that won’t break down on the motorway.
