Apple have a knack for nailing the basics people care about that's for sure. But I can't help but see another year of Apple withholding basic features like VRR and USB 3.0 transfer speeds from the standard iPhone just to upsell to the Pro line. These features are found on almost every Android device between $300 and $600. Having never experienced them before, iPhone buyers aren't demanding them but they make a real difference.
There is nothing wrong with making boring, nice phones of course and Apple not innovating in the market is actually better for everyone as it makes other companies take that mantle.
