Apple's biggest crime for me is their painfully obvious attempts to upsell to more expensive devices by crippling the cheaper models in some way. If it wasn't 16gb storage and 1600mah batteries its the new iPad.
It wasn't always this way and in truth whilst Apple devices are expensive they are very rarely poor value for money. This year they phoned it in a bit too much across the park, from the base iPhone 14 to the iPad Pro.
These are not terrible devices but they are terrible value for money. Apple's target is always the 3-year upgrade cycle market (annual upgraders gonna upgrade) but I struggle to see how the iPhone 14 is anything more than a 12SS model.
