Apples strength is always nailing the basics. Samsung phones are brilliant and O have nothing but love for Android. But there is always some compromise, some sort of workaround needed because of one basic thing that doesn’t work properly. If it’s not being able to keep local copies of your Google Photo library in sync it’s having to rely on a 3rd party app to sync Obsidian with OneDrive.

These sound like petty recriminations but they snowball and add up. The old adage of Apple just working is true. Their phones might lack the bells and whistles of Android. They might not be ‘exciting’. (they’re just phones. None of them are, really) But they work when you need them too.
