As kids (you and I being the same age) it didn’t matter if the Super Nintendo was more powerful than the Mega Drive; it still didn’t have Sonic 2, Streets of Rage or blood in Mortal Kombat.
It’s not the power of our glass and metal sandwiches but what its used for and ultimately, for better or worse the premium app marketplace on Android just isn’t as good as the iPhone. And of the apps that are on both platforms, the iOS versions always seem that little bit slicker (eg WhatsApp)
This will be something the incoming ‘save £200 and buy a Pixel 8a’ iPhone 16e reviews will all blindly avoid talking about. Mark, it would be incredibly refreshing if It could be something you could touch on in yours :)
My point I suppose is that we don’t choose the iPhone because it has the best hardware.
