At work we still have rooms full of Intel iMacs which are used for all sorts of things, predominantly photography degree work. What’s really weird is we also have M1 machines that are just used as general workstations or for just operating a couple of 3D printers. Hey, it’s not up to me where they go.

A lot of those Intel Macs will be like this, sat on campus or at companies where they still do the business. My hairdresser has an M1 iMac just as a front of house machine. It looks nice but why would she upgrade?
