Before Google Maps came along we navigated the streets of the UK by where pubs were!

I don’t think smartphones have spoilt anything. But I do think we’ve lost site of how they’re supposed to be a digital utility knife rather than a time sink.

I like to think that if someone brought Steve Jobs into the present day he would make the iPhone Mini the default size, kick addictive social media apps from the App Store and make an obvious-yet-unmade comment like ‘Why would I want to watch a movie or TV show on a 6” screen on the bus surrounded by strangers? Go use your TV or the movie theatre.”
