Blockchain remains a way to exploit players by monetising the grind of games that don’t really offer much in terms of gameplay from the beginning. It’s closer to those exploitative mobile games that hide progress behind artificial barriers to bleed money from players.

I don’t think it will be troubling Sony or Nintendo any time soon.
