Do Facebook even have a 'Metaverse' future? Given the infinite imagination and possibilities present in a VR landscape that does not have to obey the rules of nature the best thing FB could come up with was a virtual representation of an actual meeting room with a whiteboard on the wall. Hardly awe-inspiring.

Zuckerberg desperately wants his legacy to be talked about alongside the Curies, Jobs and Fords of the world when in reality he is going to be considered alongside Oppenheimer and Kalashnikov who were undoubtedly clever people whose inventions destabilised the world.
