Does it not still bother people that the iPhone doesn’t include full manual overrides as standard? The quality of images is undeniable but having to fork out extra money just to be able to set a 30’ shutter or have user control over focus is a bit galling.
I’m not saying the camera is better but at least on a Samsung I have a separate ‘Pro’ mode I have full control over that remembers my presets and I don’t have to pay a 3rd party a subscription for it. Google are also finally offering manual modes on the Pixel 8 next month which will make Apple the only outlier that doesn’t offer it on their top-end phones.
The most ridiculous thing is that Final Cut on the iPad does have manual focus!
