Every 1980’s Saturday morning action cartoon was Star Wars. It had such an influence over the storytellers/toy salesmen of the day that it seeped into everything. He-Man, Thundercats, Transformers, Visionaries, Centurions, Robotix, Bravestarr, Ulysses 31, Cities of Gold, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors; most of the adventure/journey shows have the same archetypes: wizened old wizard, young plucky hero, magical princess, wise-cracking older guy, comedy sidekicks.
