Facebook and Twitter were harmless fun when we were all in our early 20’s and posting about last night at the pub or whatever burnt offering constituted our breakfast the next day.

But then we got older, got our shit together, had kids and got political. Social media changed with us and became a combination of political outrage and a family photo album.

Kids didn’t want to hang out here because what kid wants to be where their uncle or grandma spends their time?

Facebook will continue to rot as a community of uncles and grandmas until it becomes a digital epitaph for future anthropologists to study. Twitter is a direct line to our heroes so naturally we tell them what we really think.
