FCP is not what we think and missing a lot of key features of the desktop, not least of which is external drive support. You cannot move a project between iPad and Mac.

Given the 'give it a go' pricing structure FCP seems aimed more at the school project crowd that want something more intuitive than iMovie rather than someone who needs heavy lifting done.

Its not a bad app; isolated in the iPad ecosystem is probably the best video editor out there. Its just not (yet) good enough to really be called a 'professional' level application.
