First off: thank you for not writing another SSD-based article. Having a single SSD isn't a problem for other electronics (you know, like a PS5) and it isn't here.
However I feel you have fallen into the 'apples and oranges' trap like others have. Whilst it is true that a top-specced M2 Air is actually worse value £$-per-Mhz, this isn't the main reason people buy the Air in the first place.
I'm a writer who needs as light-a-computer as possible to go into my messenger bag (because you will develop back problems carrying heavy things on one shoulder). I am a photographer who already has a backpack overloaded with heavy lenses and can't afford to put a heavy laptop in as well. I am just wanting a light computer I can sit on the sofa with, do my taxes and message my family.
People do not buy the Air for its fast speed, they buy it for its light chassis. Recommending a heavier Pro model kind of defeats the purpose.
