Following the way of Jesus isn’t meant to be easy and it’s not meant to make your life easier. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar. Jesus told us to share all we have with the poor and to forgive anyone who wrongs us. Neither of these two things is easy, especially in a society where selfishness and anger are the easy options.
