Gowtham, I taught Product Design for 15 years and your article is right on the money.

There are too many (far, far too many) articles by UX Designers on here that assume software is the end product.

Some academic advice: always consider the hardware your software is going to go into and the ergonomics thereof. For example how many apps do we see where crucial elements are out of reach of a thumb. It cannot always be assumed a user has both hands available or even has both of them to start with. In modern design, accessibility is everything.

I know app developers are not the ones who build phones but consider for a minute how the analog controls of Super Mario 64 were developed in tandem with rather than apart from the controller, each influencing the other or that first immediate connection you felt playing Wii Sports. I use videogames as a prime example because they are the ultimate case study of user-hardware-software relationship.

I would thoroughly recommend Designing Mobile Interfaces by Steven Hoober if you haven't read it. You can read more from him here: https://www.uxmatters.com/mt/archives/2017/03/design-for-fingers-touch-and-people-part-1.php
