I admit its difficult to see where they can actually go beyond the annual stat buff. M2 is a given at this point but I use a 2020 iPad Pro for work and a lot more and honestly think it is one of the best computers I have ever owned, period.

At this point all they can do is add more feathers to its cap: 4K120 recording with improved mics on both side cameras would be useful as the video recording capabilities are useful and better than any laptop. The camera is still quite useful for document and whiteboard scanning so maybe a bump here too?

I use the LiDAR scanner all the time for CAD so improving the resolution of this would be a massive benefit.

Maybe IP68 resistance too?

I actually think iPadOS16 makes the M1 model worse to use as the multitasking 'solution' is basically smaller app windows which isn't very useful on an 11" model and I don't have issue with the current method.

What did need changing was the complete waste of screen space that is the notification system. This could be added to the RH-swipe screen instead of the widget list as you can just plonk them on the desktop and be a lot more manageable.
