I am so sorely tempted to get shot of my iPhone 13, not because I dislike it but because I would quite like all my tech to have USB-C and it is the outlier.

But my whole family is on iOS and I really don't want to fork out for another cloud subscription on top of that. Google's seppuku with their own apps continues to infuriate me as well. I liked Play Music and Podcasts; I don't want to use YouTube. Patching with 3rd parties is a fudge.

So I will keep my iPhone because the software experience of making Android as seamless as iOS just isn't worth the hassle. All the hardware bells and whistles cannot cover up the fact that a phone is just a shell for software.
