I have a 2011 Air sat under my desk that I tried doing some stuff with. I bought it off Gumtree for £50 and the owner had recently upgraded the battery: it had only had 25 charge cycles!

I first tried Chrome OS Flex but that kept just freezing so I've gone back to MacOS. Did you have to faff around with the upgrade URL in Terminal due to some HTTPS dead links?
