I know I'm in a group of 1 with this but I often think software has ruined photography. Don't get me wrong, I too take 20-30 shots of the same composition and tweak the rotation and crop but then one could do this with 35mm film and a pair of scissors.

I talk of over-editing images to the point that what you see isn't what the world created. I browse the pages of 500px and in amongst so many obviously really good photographers are just as many talented digital artists who create unbelievably good digital compositions from dozens of base photographs but the end result is not a photo but an artwork and should be labelled as such.

I will however admit to being a massive hypocrite who has used extensive editing before, but I will also put my money where my mouth is and say that some of my favourite photos I have taken feature no editing at all:
