I must admit I increasingly lean this way. I'm across the pond and things are very different here in the UK. The majority of jesus followers here are ordinary, right thinking folk. Thanks to the unwritten English rule of keeping things to yourself, the church often speaks through action rather than words. In my city it props up the central homeless charity, acts as a mediator for authorities and neighbourhoods and is almost an invisible safety net keeping things together behind the scenes.
