I often feel the existence of Halide is an indictment on the laziness of Apple's own internal development team. At the very least full manual overrides should be present on the default app on the Pro models and yet the iOS camera app hasn't really changed much since the iPhone 4. To make matters worse you can't even set an alternative as default.

I would switch Halide for Camera+ 2 which offers the exact same features but only charges a $4 one-off fee instead of a scalpy subscription.
