I politely disagree. Leaving it charging whilst you are not using your computer is one thing but there are more elegant solutions Apple could have easily harnessed.

Qi charging would be a much simpler solution and even allow them to build a charging mat that perpetually keeps it going with capacitors replacing the battery.

For what its worth I wish they'd bin the mouse altogether and use the Touchpad as a standard inclusion but upgrade that product to work with the Pencil for precision work.
