I rewatched Ironman again recently and it still looks astonishing. There is a heft to the suit they dressed RDJ in that is missing in the CGI options of later movies.

And sticking with John Favreau for a minute, we can’t not mention The Mandalorian. The use of practical effects coupled with the StageCraft LED backdrops they use to shoot the CGI planets in real time is astounding to look at and much better for the actors than Green Screen.
