I see the Apple ecosystem as more of a barrier these days. I like having a choice of phone, manufacturer, which watch I buy etc. With Apple this is largely removed.

But I also happily use an iPad Pro alongside my Pixel 8, Chromebook and Windows PC because Apple make such fine hardware!
