I stand with the consumer on this one. I am a happy, paid-up iCloud customer. I like how it sits at the core of all my families' media shenanigans. I likely wouldn't bother using anything else.

But what if I wanted to. How easy is it to extract all that data and move it to OneDrive or Dropbox? The same conversation could also be had in the opposite direction.

I don't think this is an Apple exclusive problem. There needs to be better interoperability between providers to let us move all our data around and not store things in weird proprietary formats.
