I think a mix of characters would be interesting, with the heroes seeing how the public views them and the public maybe finding out meeting your heroes isn’t always for the best. Maybe a Poseidon Adventure-style movie following a journey throughout a structure or vessel. The scenario would have to be something that perhaps nerfs the abilities of the heroes a little so it doesn’t end up on How It Should Have Ended!

It might work as an X-Men title with a bunch of mutants having to work with a public that doesn’t like them. A fight with the Sentinels has trapped them all underground only the X-Men are injured. They in the end band together and learn to help each other. Everyone at least bar the racist stereotype character who meets an accidental sticky end to cheers from the audience.

They needn’t be B-List heroes either but the main characters. For example maybe Cyclops has lost his visor and is relying on others to help him find his way or they bring up Storm’s claustrophobia that paralyses her with fear.
