I think Apple have only confused the marketplace. They advertised it as some sort of entertainment device and yet the pricing indicates it is aimed at an industrial customer. My point is that the industrial applications of this hardware are through the roof and yet Apple showed off functionality either readily available on VR devices 10% of the price or something dull. It says a lot when companies with the R&D budgets of Apple and Meta can only come up with exciting uses like conference calls or virtual boardrooms.
At work, I can't wait to get one.
At home? I'll stick with sharing the TV.
