I think its actually better than a lot of people realise. You can buy any iPhone or Android and replace nearly every default app with a Microsoft equivalent (and indeed an iPhone with Google replacements in any ways is better than an Android device)

If you are a Gamepass Ultimate subscriber you can take Xbox Live with you pretty much wherever via streaming and all your gameplay clips and screenshots are waiting for you in the app (something Sony doesn't support AFAIK)

Sign into Edge at work and all your cloud stuff, bookmarks etc are waiting for you on your work machine (also works with Google and Chrome). This is a big one as outside the Apple ecosystem there is no way of accessing your Safari data. Microsoft have a much better cloud experience too. iCloud.com is largely a joke at this point (although the cloud version of Pages is by far the best online word processor around)
