I think its important to remember the context. In 2024 this is probably the most cutting edge piece of consumer electronics on the market; in 20 years it will be regarded as a quaint jumping of point in the mass adoption of AR.

At one point the original iPhone was also the most cutting edge piece of tech on the market yet that too had its detractors. It wasn't until the 2nd gen model and the App Store that it really blew up.
