I think its time we thought of iPhones in the same way we do washing machines. They're incredibly useful. They kind of look nice. They're reliable. And they're a bit dull.

We may end up thinking this way about every phone soon. Other manufacturers tow the line because looking too different means isolation. But the Pixel and Galaxy S lines are losing their USPs and look more like the iPhone every year.
