I think the M1 is still a brilliant buy, especially as the cheaper models still have the dual NAND SSDs in them which won’t make much difference to the average user but if you’re pushing it can mean all the difference.

I can pick up a silver M1 Air from UK 2nd hand retailer CEX for £575 with a 2-year warranty which is bonkers cheap.
