I think they’d be stupid to do so. At the minute it’s along the lines of the Mac Pro or Studio in terms of price and nobody is calling for them to be cancelled. Well, at least not the Mac Studio.

Apple ‘doing a Sony’ and releasing a crazy, expensive niche piece of tech that is also incredibly interesting is good for them and the rest of the industry.

At the very least they will want to make a return on the $10bn they spent on R&D the wider media still seems to think was an actual attempt to build a car.
