I think your own photograph is still a better image overall, but the power of Midjourney is mind blowing, isn't it?

I think there will always be a place for the human taken image but for very specific things AI has a place.

I see so many compositions on 500px that have clearly been collaged together from 3-4 images and heavily photoshopped to the point that it's less a photograph and something closer to a 'minds-eye' picture like a sketch or painting. Frankly I fail to see the difference between this sort of work and that of an AI.

If anything I actually dislike the collage work because its still something that is heavily manipulated. If AI forces creatives back outside to set things up for one shot (like your great one in the article) I say bring it on.
