I’d love to say there are still some reasons to go but beyond seeing a movie earlier than you can at home, what are they?

My last few trips have been punctuated by obnoxious teenagers, unsuitable children and people playing with their phones.

I have nothing against teens or kids going to the cinema! But my youngest son getting covered in barbecue sauce because a group were throwing it at another group of teens was the last straw.

At home it’s just me and the family. I’m happy just watching it on TV where I can pause the action if I or anyone else needs a wizz and I have a fridge full of beer and meat-based pastry products not more than 10 metres from my sofa.
