I'd perhaps call him delusional. He seems to think he is the hero in his own story whilst everyone around him sees him as the villain and wonders why those around him cannot see things the way he sees them.

He wants to be the Wade Wells without realising he is the Nolan Sorrento of his own personal Ready Player One.
