I'd say that's a pretty comprehensive list that gives equal weight to the fun side of cinema as much as the serious. The Thing is a great movie!

My only knock would be the inclusion of Avengers: Endgame which is full of cringey product placement (Fortnite, Axe body spray), ropey special effects (particularly the time suits) and a really weird epilogue.

I would replace it with the original 2012 Avengers which is everything great about the MCU in one microcosm of a movie that you can watch on its own and have a satisfying evening without the need to know who any of the characters are or what is next for them.
