If Apple come out with a more limited model for Siri than rivals I am not convinced it will matter. What Apple users are crying out for is a more intelligent Siri that can, say manage their smart home devices as well as Google or Amazon *without* the ads or privacy issues. I don't think anyone has been calling for something cutting edge, just something that works!

Companies have been all in on AI and yeah, its helpful to me but I have yet to see it as a selling point for the person in the street who at most uses their voice assistant to set timers, add appointments and check the weather.
