If somebody who is a lot better educated than me says something exists, I tend to listen. I can see where you're coming from when science posits the idea of, say cosmic strings.

But Electrons have been seen and even filmed https://phys.org/news/2008-02-electron.html and we know Gravity exists because we don't go floating off into space yet those in space do not come plummeting back down to Earth. Thus there is a direct observable relationship between the gravitational pull of a planet and your distance from it.

Or just ride a rollercoaster.
