If you’re getting into the multiverse I strongly suggest picking up 1990’s classic Sliders, or at least the first 2 seasons. A brilliant young physics student creates a stable wormhole in his basement to a parallel universe. Something goes wrong and he swallows himself, his professor, his best friend and a passing stranger into a journey lost in the multiverse. They spend each episode hopping to a new world where reality is slightly different.
