Is blocking YouTube adverts ethical?

Whilst Google isnt exactly short of cash that money does go towards creators as much as general running costs; I might equate blocking adsense revenue from Youtubers as the streaming equivalent of Napstering an MP3.

There is a much longer arguement to be had about creators' share of revenue but I digress. I might be hypocritical by saying that I happily block adverts from regular websites but this is because the practices of video adverts on text websites is like pop-ups all over again. If I wanted to watch your video content I would go to youtube!

If a website uses in-line statics I will happily whitelist them as this is no different to having ads in a magazine or newspaper.
