Isn't SaaS, as I understand it Software as a Service just a change in business model though, as in I pay a monthly sub for ongoing updates rather than a one off fee for a finished product?

I can see people getting fed up of every single damned 3rd party app wanting a subscription and then not getting it because their core OS provides the same functionality.

How does AI kill this though?
