It does still work with current iCloud services though and you can redownload older compatible apps from the App Store. I’m not too bothered about the security of my older Mac Mini because I rarely ever take it on the raw web. They make great machines for kids who might want to explore their creative side in GarageBand or Pixelmator without needing the open internet to do so.
