It’s about time someone kicked Facebook’s butt.

Surveillance advertising is also counter-productive. By tracking my web activity it advertises things to me I have already seen. It would be a lot easier if Facebook adopted a ‘hobbyist magazine’ approach and generalised adverts to users based on a few generic terms rather than hyper-focussed them using data tracking.
