It’s all over product development and goes both ways. I know there is plenty of pushback from the industry but with the rock solid parental controls from Apple/Google and how ubiquitous they are in the modern world, kids need to learn how to use a smartphone.
Yet the operating systems, software ergonomics and huge handsets are not made for the hands of a 13 year old at all. This is why we have this cottage industry of phone bags and pop sockets, all of which is an indictment of the designers.
People with big hands appreciate big phones. We need smaller ones for smaller ones.
