It’s catch 22: roms you don’t own are piracy but there is no way to buy them! They recently went after Vimm which doesn’t bode well for other archives.

I have no problem with paying their online sub to access the older games; indeed having the bonus of things like Online play in SNES Mario Kart is most welcome.
