Its not even that Spark's subscription is overpriced; its just that we all used a LOT of apps for business and leisure and paying a subscription for all of them is becoming expensive and tiresome.
I ditched Halide for the exact same reason. Devs, I appreciate its a better way to make money but a better option might be to adopt the videogame model and offer features as DLC for your app, for example maybe Spark could have charged customers a one-off $5 -10 for every additional email account after the first ? This is an easier pill to swallow for customers and given the previous app was completely free you're still making bank.
