I've found my phone brilliant for hip-shooting as well as creativity. But nothing beats a proper camera for it. A phone cannot match a decent 300mm lens no matter the software.

There is something nice about going out with one, the clunk of the shutter and the feeling of superiority! I wouldn't carry a SLR around everywhere I go. But its a nice companion on a trip designed just for taking pictures.
